If your document requires witnesses, you may provide your own eligible witnesses or request witness coordination through B. Elise Notary Services LLC.
For a Florida Remote Online Notarization, a witness may be physically present with the signer or participate remotely through the approved audio-video platform. A remote witness must satisfy Florida's applicable identity-verification requirements and must confirm that they are a resident of and physically located within the United States or a U.S. territory at the time of witnessing. Witness eligibility requirements can vary depending on the type of document and applicable law. It is the signer's responsibility to determine how many witnesses are required and whether the document imposes specific qualifications on those witnesses. B. Elise Notary Services cannot provide legal advice regarding who may serve as a witness.
If you need us to coordinate witnesses, please request this service when scheduling your appointment. Witness coordination is $25 per witness. Advance notice is recommended, and same-day requests should be made at least two hours before the appointment to allow time for coordination.
Certain documents, including some wills, trusts, health care directives, and powers of attorney, are subject to additional Florida requirements when witnesses participate remotely. Online Sunshine
