What Does an Apostille Agent Do?

What is your role as an apostille agent?

As your Apostille Agent, B. Elise Notary Services facilitates the apostille, authentication, or legalization process on your behalf.

Depending on your document and destination country, our services may include:

• Reviewing your documents to help determine the appropriate processing requirements
• Identifying the appropriate state, federal, or other processing authority
• Preparing and submitting documents for processing
• Coordinating additional authentication or legalization steps when required
• Tracking the progress of your request
• Providing status updates throughout the process
• Coordinating shipping or courier services, when applicable
• Arranging the secure return of your completed documents

An Apostille Agent does not issue the apostille or determine whether the receiving party will accept your document. Apostilles and authentications are issued by the appropriate government authority, and final document requirements should be confirmed with the agency or organization receiving your documents.

Our role is to coordinate the process for you so you do not have to navigate each step on your own.
