Who can perform a VIN Verification in Florida?

Florida VIN Verifications may be performed by certain authorized individuals, including:

  • A Florida Notary Public
  • A licensed Florida motor vehicle dealer
  • A law enforcement officer
  • A military police officer
  • An authorized FLHSMV Compliance Examiner/Inspector
  • An authorized tax collector or license plate agency employee
